Unlocking 3330 4.30 Instructions

Here is the solution for Nokia 3330 v4.30

1) Backup your phone from 00290000 to 002A0000

2) Flash the partial with the partial you can find on this site, you have the right adress

3) After that use Nokia Tool and put FFFFF in the MCC+MNC field, try to close the lock you'll get "error closing lock".

4) Switch the phone off before pressing ok to the error warning

5) Flash the orginal 64kb backup block.

Alleen was de partial niet op deze site te vinden. Lijkt me een tegenhack van Nokia, om het ons wat moeilijker te maken. Er zijn reeds diverse versies die op deze manier geflasht moeten worden. Ook 3310 V5.03 bijvoorbeeld.

De partial heb ik inmiddels al gevonden, maar ben toch een beetje bang door het voorgaande verhaal. Kan iemand bevestigen dat het niet zoals de oudere versies gaat. En klopt het bovenstaande precies?

Het zou kunnen kloppen....maar ik weet niet zeker of het gaat...het zou inderdaad ook kunnen dat het zo als de oudere versie's gaat.....proberen zou ik zeggen.

Maar das ook weer link....ik zou toch nog f w8en totdat iemand het kan bevestigen.

Nog steeds niemand die de nieuwste versies van Nokia heeft ge-unlocked?

Ik heb nu weer een iets ander verhaal gelezen, wie kan iets bevestigen, en welke geheugenadressen moeten nu worden uitgelezen alvorens de partial erop te zetten? Want dit bericht spreekt het eerdere hierop tegen:

The *basic* 3330 4.50 unlocking solution by Lead

Note: This solution works when only the first lock is closed.

SW Requirements: Dejan Flasher 1.00b and NokiaTool.

1. Backup the PMM & EEPROM area (550000-600000) using

the attached loaders (956 and 6244 bytes long).

The FLASHER.CFG settings for the 3330 should be 65 08.

This step is *very* important!

2. Flash the partial 3330_450_patch.fls using the above settings

to the address 290000.

The phone would accept any card but... you know

3. Start NokiaTool, turn on the phone, press "Read ME" buttton,

type "FFFFF" to the MCC+MNC field and press the corresponding

button to close it.

THE NOKIATOOL WILL WRITE A MESSAGE "Can not close lock..."

DO NOT WORRY AND DO NOT PRESS THAT BUTTON AGAIN!

Turn the phone off as soon as possible (max approx. 20s from turning on).

4. Flash the partial 3330_450_orig.fls to the address 290000.

AND, VOILA!

THE PHONE LOCK 1 IS RELOCKED TO FFFFF, THAT MEANS IT IS UNLOCKED !

In NokiaTool, the lock state of the unlocked phone should

look like in RESULT.GIF.
