(SIM-lock is NOT the SP-lock/Service Provider lock!!)

The SIM-lock makes your phone to fusion with the SIM-card, and the phone will not

accept any other SIM cards after you lock your phone! You get ten chances to type

the correct code! After the tenth time your phone gets "SIM-lock permanently

blocked", and you will be unable to open it !! The best thing you can do is to remove

the SIM-lock permanently!!

NB. Tested on Bosch 738 phone and 607.

Thanks goes to Ernesto Bruscia and Bjørn Tore Nøstvold

Software

--------

I have been asked a lot about how to update the software in Sony phones.

The easiest thing to do is to go to the nearest Sony

dealer and make him do it for you. Just remember that it is supposed to

be free (a receipt is needed) so don't let him tell you anything else!
