I'm a new member living in Portugal
I do realise that my questions could have been discussed already.
But I'm desparately in need of answers.

As a DSR we have a PIXX ADT 1210 programmed for Astra 2 and Astra1B-H
This DSR came with the installation package and was bought locally only 2/3 months ago.
We had some programming (read software) problems but those were solved, without questioning, by the supplyer.
Early May we called again because the DSR didn't work properly.
The man told us that the code was changed and he could not fix it.
Question??
Do I have to buy another DSR or maybe software?
Please help

On which channels/ packages u have these problems?

Most pay-tv has changed code to encryption systems that are not hacked yet.

For example the Dutch channels have switches of irdeto-1 encryption.

Perhaps you should start thinking about possibilities with a dreambox.

Indeed we are missing the Dutch channels.
We are not that much interested in the PayTV part.
Although buying another DSR would be our last option (considering this one is still new) please tell us about the advantages of using a dreambox
