RedBox images are to be considered for testing purposes only.
If you don't like running experimental software, don't use it.
The RedBox team doesn?t get paid for their work and do this just as hobby.
They have full time jobs during the day time, family obligations, etc.
If RedBox images work for you, that?s fine.
If they don?t work for you or you find a bug, you can:
a) If you find a work around do it, and post it to help others
b) Post exact steps to reproduce the bug (which doesn?t guarantee it will be fixed)
Include text output where appropriate.
c) Go back to your favourite image and just admit ?Redbox is not for me?
d) Learn a bit of linux and C and make your own image
If you still just want to complain rather than do any of the above options
Please follow this procedure:
Save your complain to a text file called complain.txt
Move this file to your relooks /tmp folder
telnet (as root) to your relook and type the following command:
mv /tmp/complain.txt /dev/null
That?s it, wait for a timely response.
Changes:
- based on official 2.8 image + Neumo graphics
- bug fixes now camd3 starts very fast
- re-worked /var/scripts and included option for CCcam
- Remove gb*x binaries, (rumour has it that it works, but it's unsupported)
- Menu+6 shows info, try it!
NOTE: /var/scripts and /var/bin/init.d/ have been changed since rev7 to work with dgstation 2.8 code, so do not overwrite them with older versions, if you dont' know what you are doing, leave them alone.
