Welke image geniet de voorkeur voor de DM800HD en waarom ?

Wij gebruiken verschillende. In flash zit ALTIJD de OoZooN lean experimental image, zowel op de (originele) 800 als de (originele) 8000.
Voordeel is dat zeer nauw wordt samengewerkt met DMM, bijna dagelijks er updates zijn. Je via email van DMM je kunt laten informeren wat er veranderd is. Makkelijk in gebruik, direct contact met OoZooN via internet, veel plugins en ga zo maar door.
Daarnaast Barry Allen plugin (de maker van deze plugin heeft ook OoZooN in flash) zodat je meerder images kunt gebruiken (die zet je op USB of HDD). Voorkeur is via BA deze op USB te zetten omdat anders je HDD elke keer wordt gebruikt en dus uit standby wordt gehaald.

mijn DMetje 800 is een originele Chinese Clone dus ik denk dat OoZOON niet een optie is.

Ik heb er net de nabilo blackhole opgezet en dit werk aardig.
Nu nog uitvinden hoe ik de Barry Allen erop moet krijgen Ik heb al enkel cracks gezien specifiek voor de china versie
Is toch wel even wat anders dan die dm500 of de dm7020.
Is er ergens een stap voor stap beschrijving hiervoor gemaakt?

elke plugin installeren is eenvoudig. Afh. van image kun je dat via Menu-Applicaties- Download (groene knop) en dan onder Extensions zoeken naar BARRY ALLEN en niet bart allen.
Je kunt ook de plugin downloaden van het internet naar je pc. Dan de plugin (*.ipk) ftp'n naar je box naar /tmp.
dan met telnet naar je box en ingeven:
cd /tmp
ipkg install *.ipk
en voila
Weet waar je aan begint met een gecloonde box...!

Ik heb een gepatchte Barry Allen liggen voor de chinese clonen.
Even voor de duidelijkheid , die Barry Allen wat doet die precies , alleen maar het mogelijk maken van multi image of heeft dat pluginnetje meer mogelijkheden.

Oops die kan zo veel dingen.... file system check, backup, restore, booten, bootparameters, images uitpakken, hernoemen, verwijderen, etc, etc

En ook nog een image op usb laden en deze dan aanpassen voor de gepatchte Chinese clone, daarna wegschrijven als image en in de flash plaatsen. Hiermee is het mogelijk om zelf de nieuwste image eenvoudig aan te passen.
Ik heb eventueel een PDF voor je met uitleg hoe je dat moet doen.

MeoBoot (new Multiboot plugin / tool) I see no nejavlja this fantastic plugin for me, one of the largest so far
after FW MusicBoba.

About MeoBoot
What is MeoBoot:
MeoBoot is a new, very light, not invasive, Multiboot tool for Enigma 2 images.
MeoBoot is the answer to those who wish to have an alternative to the existing multiboot tools, which have now become a kind of image in the image, controlling your DM, doing tasks that go beyond their purposes, reaching large file sizes.

It is therefore importanto to understand that when using a multi-boot tool, the drivers, secondstage and kernel will be loaded by the flash image.
This procedure requires some precautions:
1) It is a good idea to always update the flash image, to make sure it includes the latest drivers and secondstage. Drivers and Secondstage can be easily updated via the Software Manager, available in the flash image. If the drivers and secondstage of your flash image are old, they will also be used for the new images you will install to multiboot.
2) Do not install to multiboot images too old, compared to the flash image. They may not work properly when the drivers are very recent, and the CVS is very old.
3) Do not use images in multiboot with different kernel versions. This may cause the malfunction of your whole dream.
For example, do not use the latest OzOon images with Nabilo, LS, Gimini or NewEnigma. Ozoon latest images include a different kernel and are incompatible.
To avoid trouble then before installing a new image, always check the image kernel version, and make sure it is the same as the flash image.
These are few and simple explanations that are relevant to all multi-boot tools and if you follow them, you will then make sure that your Dream always performs at itsbest, keeping it as much as possible efficient and updated.
MeoBoot was written precisely for this to be simple, transparent and lightweight.
It is very small compared to other MB and does not reach even a mega.
It only does its job, and does not invade your dream, do not check if it is a clone or not, check your network, it does nothing extra. Only does multiboot!
