Heeft een van jullie nog wel beeld of zijn ze naar een andere frequentie verhuist.

Laat a.u.b. even weten, anders zit ik hier voor jan-lul te klooien ;-)

Dear All,

That's true, Motors TV is now encrypted on Eurobird, and it's a move we couldn't avoid any longer.

The main reason for that is the amount of Motorsport, and mainly high level international championships, that we are airing. Many of our deals were getting under major threats if we were not able to control our distribution.

Being encrypted also enables us to protect our signal against piracy from cable operators across Europe.

Programming and carriage over Europe costs a lot of money and the only way to make it viable is to make revenues out of advertising or distribution. Encryption then became an obligation.

We feel very sorry for those who lost Motors TV due to that move but hope they'll be able to subscribe to the "Family" Sky package in which we are now included. As I said before we couldn't avoid to be encrypted or would have started to lose so many rights that the channel wouldn't have had the same appeal anymore.

We are also currently working very hard in order to make sure we will be included in the british cable offers during the course of 2005.
