Pioneer heeft ook -SE- mode.....

Ik heb vernomen dat de Pioneer's ook een soort "Service Mode" hebben. Totaal anders dan die van Philips natuurlijk.

Hier een quote:

"They have too a -SE- mode... but it is harder to enter than one's ... they have to swich on deco whit a bridge over two pins, and then off and send a command over serial... I don't remember it exactly... It's easier for them to use Jtag..."

Dus welke jumper?

Welk serieel commando?

Ik heb mij zelfs laten vertellen dat je de regiocode met behulp van een jumper of draadbrug kan uitschakelen.

Maarja, Pioneer holland geeft daar geen info over en houden zich van den domme.

 
Iets meer info+soft voor Pioneer -SE- mode:

PROCEDURE TO APPLICATION DOWNLOAD

1. Connect Parallel + RS232 + A.C Cord to IRD.

Also connect scart cable from top scart of

IRD to TV scart.

2. Attach Shorting probe from K2002 test pin to

IRD chassis (short TP to gnd).

3. Switch Power switch ON - IRD display shows DL then Dlo is displayed.

AFTER IRD DISPLAY SHOWS DLo

do following procedures;

4. Remove shorting link from K2002.

5. Press keyboard return key - P.C display prompts for press Return key again.

6. When prompt displayed then press Return key. - P.C display shows arrows as d/load continues.

7. After approx 75 seconds d/load completes. - P.C monitor displays 'OK'

8. Switch off power button on IRD

9. Switch power on - Display lights.

10. Press KEY (Between ST20 and FLASH M29AW800 IC 3001)and ground . display shows DL10 TESTED in DBR-S110NL.
